Morning glory muffins?
I want to make these 'morning glory' muffins i found on Recipezaar but they call for flaked coconut which I don't have. What will be the taste difference If i leave it out? This is the recipe...it looks like there are so many other flavors that they will stil be good without coconut...what do u think?
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/3 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup oil
2 eggs
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups grated peeled apples (about 1 large apple)
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup flaked coconut
1/3 cup shredded carrots
1/3 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Morning glory muffins?
they will be fine without the coconut. in all actuality, the morning glory muffins ar pretty much a glorified carrot cake recipe, the coconut and the apples are for a bit of added fiber.
Reply:I think that they would be ok without the coconut.
Reply:That would be still eatable and nice...good luck with it

Morning glory flowers...?
My morning glory plants are not blooming. I worry that they do not get enough sun, but the plants themselves are growing large with many large leaves... and no flowers. What am I doing wrong?
Morning glory flowers...?
i worried about the same thing for 2 years - i didnt get flowers til august (i live in northeast). i was the told that many strains of morning glories are late summer bloomers. they were very dense with leaves and grew vigorously and big - but no flowers. by end of summer, there were many hundreds. and they bloomed every day til frost, sun or clouds.
Reply:You are supposed to plant them
so that they get the morning sun.
If you have done this
they should begin to bloom soon.
Did you check them this morning?
Reply:My morning glories only bloom on cloudy/overcast days.
Reply:give them a little more time.. if they are still growing and the leaves look healthy. you arent doing anything wrong. just give them some time and you should have blooms soon.. mine take a while to get blossoms also! good luck !
Reply:You probably have a large amount of nitrogen (needed for vigorous leaf/foliage growth) and are deficient in phosphorus (needed for flowering/fruiting). Bone meal is a natural source for phosphorus.

Morning Glory Seeds?
Do my own morning glory seeds have to be chilled before I plant them next year?
Morning Glory Seeds?
No they don't all you have to do is store them in a dry place and seal in a little plastic baggy and then wait next spring and plant and you will have lovely morning glory plants.
Reply:I've never chilled mine.
Reply:No, they don't.
But use them sparingly! They will take over everything!
Reply:No, but if you soak them in warm water, they will germinate quicker.

Morning glory questions?
Ok here is the deal, Japanses beetles keep eating my morning glory leaves, and the leaves are huge, they cover up most of my flowers. I was wondering what would happen if I cut the leaves off, or just the biggest ones, would it look better, or akeward? And would it be ok for the plant??? Star me so others can see please!!
Morning glory questions?
You could take some of the leaves off without hurting the plant. You can use Malathion to get rid of the Japanese beetles. Next time you plant them water them with Blossum booster by Vigoro. If you have huge leaves you have too much nitrogen. Blossum booster is high in the middle number which is potassium which gives you roots and blooms.
Reply:get a beetle trap and hang it about 10 feet from your morning glories, this should take care of the problem. You can purchase them at most department stores,
home depot, lowes,etc.
Reply:Herbal Deterrents of Japanese Beetles
Four O'clock.. Does not deter Japanese beetles, they are attracted to it, but are generally killed by it's poisonous properties
White flowering chrysanthemums are effective
garlic, larkspur, tansy, rue, white geranium, chives all possess deterrent qualities against Japanese Beetles.
Best recommended defense against Japanese Beetles. Based on an EPA approved pathogenic bacterium Bacillus popillae, which cause the disease "milky spore " in the grubs while they are still in the soil, and is harmless to Humans to most other species
Grub Control: Milky Spore 10 oz
Pheromone based lures and traps are discouraged as they only serve to attract more beetles to your garden/yard from surrounding areas.
GOOD LUCK!
Reply:Your flowers get nutrition from the leaves, through a process called photosynthesis which involves the sun. Leave the leaves alone, and kill the beetles.
Reply:If you cut the leaves off the plant will die of malnutrition. And the beetles will just move on to eat something else.

Morning glory seed coating?
I want to remove the chemical coating on some Morning Glory seeds I bought. It says on the back of the packet "These seed have a very hard coat". It doesnt say anything else on the back about it. Is this the seed coating itself, or a chemical coating? And if it's chemical, is it removable?
Morning glory seed coating?
Yes, dont eat them lol. I tried that once when I was a teen and it was gross and not even a head change.
Reply:"Hard coat" refers to the seed coat, which is a biological term refering to the "shell," as it were, of the seed. That's not the same as the chemical that is put on the seeds to make them more likely to survive being planted.
By the way, morning glory seeds will not get you high. They might make you feel sick, though.
Reply:Not a chemical coating. You just need to soak the seeds in water overnight before planting or knick the coating with a knife. Both methods will help the flowers germinate faster.
Reply:I'm not sure why you want to remove the coating or shell. Morning Glory seeds are poisonous. The coating is natural for the seed. I wouldn't mess with them other than to drop them in the dirt to plant them. If you plan on using them as a psychedelic drug it is dangerous to your health.

Morning glory that lasts most of the day for about 6 months of the year and then nothing for ages?
Normally through spring and summer i have extended morning glory that in all honestly lasts for most of the day. Mastubation makes no difference and in the end its painful. Then for no reason there is nothing for months :( Any suggestions??
Morning glory that lasts most of the day for about 6 months of the year and then nothing for ages?
Suggest sleeping in the buff at night. The morning glory is enhanced by night clothes twisting with you natural motions. Could even be exacerabated by bedclothes! Not saying that you should have no bedclothes though...
Try cold showers (not too long). When I was younger and fit I had them during the warmer months and it worked for me. Beware though such a shock to the system is not for everyone!
Yes this is embarassing but go and buckle up and go to see your doctor even if they are a woman. Extended erections are dangerous for both the heart and the member.
Reply:The sap rises in the warmer months but goes away when it's cold. By the way, having an erection for longer than 6-8 hours is actually very dangerous. You can get fibrosis in the blood vessels and end up with a permanently limp penis.
Reply:Possibly Priapism, see a Doctor. Not that common, but not unique either.
Reply:ever heard like a viagra commerial well when they say if you have an erection lasting more then 4 hours see a doctor that appllys to everyone its a blood cerulation problem...
Reply:DAMN!!

Morning Glory/LSA question?
How many Morning Glory seeds will get me trippin? How long do the effects last? How long does it take to kick in?
Also, I know it is bad for my body so don't be like "Ur stupid. Drugs r bad." Thank you. 10 pts to best answer.
Morning Glory/LSA question?
I ate 4 or 5 packets. They did work but I had a very bad trip. It was the first time I had taken any kind of hallucinogen. My other friends that ate them had an awesome time. It's all in how you perceive the trip. If you have never tripped before make sure you prepare yourself. You want to be in comfortable surroundings with people you know and are comfortable with. I ate them and then went to a party. For me it was too overwhelming which I think helped induce the bad trip. To make sure about the correct dosage visit errowid.org. It is a great, non-biased website about any drug you want info on. That's where I got my dosage info for morning glory seeds. Here's a word of advice ahead of time. Make sure you have something to grind them up with. A coffee grinder works great. In order to feel the effects of the LSA you have to actually crush the seed open because the good stuff is inside. They can be chewed up but it takes a long time to chew and make sure you are cracking every seed with your teeth. (I chewed them up and it took me forever.) Also, make sure you wash the seeds pretty thoroughly. You don't want to be eating a gross chemical coating. Other than that make sure you enjoy your trip. Best of luck!

Morning glory muffins/bread?
hey everybody i am making morning glory muffins and need help right away, i made the recipe except i put it into a pan instead of muffin tins to make bread and it is taking so much longer than the recipe says! is it just because of a larger quantity, or what?
Morning glory muffins/bread?
I would think it would take atleast 40 mins or so. The mixture is dense and you have a lot of it in one pan. No big deal---it'll be great. Your oven is somewhere around 350-375 right? Remember , its done when a tooth pick comes out clean when inserted in the middle!!!
Reply:I may be wrong
BUT morning glories are poisonous
Reply:Yes, a bread takes longer than muffins. It will take close to 1hour to 1hour 15 minutes.
Reply:Yes I agree with the others. Bread does take a little longer to bake. I would like to have your recipe for the morning glory muffins/bread. Please email me if you are willing to give me the recipe. Thanks. Just click on my avatar to get the email address. Thanks again =0)

Is dwarf morning glory invasive?
I would like to plant dwarf morning glory (convulvulus tricolor) and know that varieties of the species are invasive but I'm not sure if this is one that is or isn't.
Is dwarf morning glory invasive?
Depending on your growing zone, this can be incredibly invasive. Convolvulus is a close relative of bindweed, and bindweed is a total thug. I once grew morning glories in SC and had them coming up in the yard for years. On the other hand, I grow them in Ohio and they do not persist. If you live in an area that gets hard frosts you're probably okay.

When should I plant my morning glory seeds?
Spring has just begun and I want to grow some morning glories this spring/summer. I had these flowers before many times but I'm not sure which is the best time to plant these seeds because it has been a while since I last remember when to plant them. When is the best time to plant morning glory seeds near delaware and pennsylvannia?
When should I plant my morning glory seeds?
I am guessing you are zone 6-7? Maybe 7b? If so, then the last week in April. Morning Glories are good even if the soil is poor, but you should test your soil before any planting. Morning Glories do not transplant well, so direct sowing is recommended. You will want to soak them overnight first. Do NOT confuse this with what the gentlemen below me is referring to, which is wild Morning Glory or Bindweed(which we in CT call-Bindweed) they are two different species. It will reseed itself depending on conditions. You can save your seeds very easily for planting in other areas. Do you know when your last frost usually falls? I am in zone 6a-6b, and ours is the 2nd to 3rd week in May, depending on the full moon.
Reply:Put 'em in the ground as soon as the earth is warm, %26amp; no chance of frost. Also not too deep. Maybe 1/2 inch.
Reply:AS soon as the soil temperture reaches 65 - 70 degrees.
Reply:AFTER all danger of frost has passed, I would guess early to mid May in your part of the country.
Here in the Midwest, they grow naturally in the cornfields, commonly known by farmers as "Bindweed" as they clog up a combine when harvesting corn or soybeans in the fall.
They emerge after the corn and soybeans have been planted, usually middle to late May.
Yes, they are a beautiful flower, and ANNOYING weed!!!
Depends upon whether it's in your flower garden, or in the crops. Good Luck...!!!
Reply:yipes! well here in cali.. now is the perfect time to plant them, but in delaware? i guess after your last major frost. i suppose you can pot them indoors now and wait until they're big enough to take the weather outside. then you can transplant them into your garden. like maybe mid may.
ps morning glorys are soooo pretty!

Smoking morning glory?
is it true that you can smoke morning glory and get high??
Smoking morning glory?
The seeds of many species of morning glory contain ergot alkaloids such as the hallucinogenic ergonovine and ergine (LSA). Seeds of I. tricolor and I. corymbosa (syn. R. corymbosa) are used as hallucinogens. The seeds can produce similar effect to LSD when taken in the hundreds. Though the chemical LSA is illegal to possess in pure form, the seeds are found in many gardening stores.

Moving morning glory plants good or bad?
i am planting morning glory indoor and i planted them seperately because i didnt want overcrowding. i would like to move them to a big pot and place a trellis on them will it be a bad thing if i transport them? will they die? they are about 5 inches tall and each plant have 2 leaves on them so far.
Moving morning glory plants good or bad?
It is often said that morning glories don't transplant well but I have not found that to be true. The seedlings have a long root and the less it's harmed the more quickly they will settle in to their new spot. When I move self sown seedlings in my garden I use a regular teaspoon and go deep into the ground around them, loosening the soil, and then gently lifting the plant. It really doesn't matter if soil clings to the root or not as long as you get most of the root. Replant immediately in a little hole just as deep as it was originally growing. Firm it in and be very generous with water. I dribble mine 2 or 3 times a day right after transplanting so that they never have to work for water. They may look very sad but even if they do don't fret too much, just keep them moist. They pretty much always spring back in a day or two and suffer no ill effects.
Reply:You just need to be really careful when you transplant them - they are very delicate at first. Don't put them out until the last frost has passed.
Reply:Morning glory plants are very hardy. Just make suer you get enough root system and when inside it gets plenty of sunlight.
good luck
Moving morning glory plants good or bad?

Will Morning Glory's die in the winter if kept potted inside?
I have one of those large pots that have the metal "eiffel tower looking" things in them to let vining plants grow up but the ivy i have planted is just taking way too long. i was wondering if Morning Glory's will die in the winter if kept inside because they grow so much quicker.
Will Morning Glory's die in the winter if kept potted inside?
more than likely. the air outside circulates better than indoors.
if kept outside they should survive if you pile snow on top of them, lots of snow like maybe 8 - 10 inches.

Morning Glory....+....Links to medical complications?
if it became apparent the the usual morning glory wasnt so great for a man in the morning ,could this be a link to further medical problems.Could finishing a course of escitalopram be a factor in this.Medical opinions only please,Thanks.

It could very well be, take a look at the drug info at the site below..;
Reply:i wouldnt worry about it the best way to get a signal for your dreams lol
Reply:Ahemz...if the morning glory you refer to is what I think it is, then yes, it may be one of the side effects of the escitalopram. More exactly..."Although changes in sexual desire, sexual performance and sexual satisfaction often occur as a result of depression itself, they also may be a consequence of the drugs used to treat depression. In particular, about one in 11 men given escitalopram report difficulties experiencing ejaculation."

Morning glory flowers....?
My daughter brought me home a morning glory in a icecream container a few days ago. It's thriving! Already opened and showed me it's glory! lol Now I really want to plant it. I need to know if it's a perrinal or a annual. I need to know exactly how to care for it because I want to make it last as long as I can. I also noticed it's starting to climb on my other plants here in the house...can I have it as an indoor plant or does it need to be outside? Help!!
Morning glory flowers....?
if you want morning glories I have a fence full AGAIN had them pulled down in may, they are already covering my fence again...they are very pretty when they bloom, and they thrive here in east texas in the summer,,,but we have had alot of rain (a lot),and I think that helps....morning glory vines will grow up trees, and jump across to something else, they are like the attack of the killer tomatoes,,I stay away from mine when mowing,i'm afraid it might wrap around my ankle and pull me into it...will mail you an entire truck load if you want...lol
Reply:Annual. I used to grow them until they took over my yard and hybridized with wild AM glories.
Reply:I'm sorry Yard Man, but I have to call you out. Your response is word for word from this site. From: http://www.gardenguides.com/plants/info/...
"Morning glory vines grow very fast, reaching 10 feet or more two months after seeds sprout, and they will climb on just about any support. Profusely flowering against a background of pale green foliage, they quickly form lovely hedges or screens. The vines are sometimes used as a temporary ground cover, and do well in hanging baskets and containers. They should be planted in full sun and need a soil that is not too fertile or moist to prevent the production of leaves instead of flowers".
You have to site your sources.
I tried to be nice about it last time.
You did this another time from a site I included in my response. Those of us who actually do the research and site our sources recognize plagiarism easily.
That is blatant plagiarism.

Morning Glory Sprouting but dying?
My morning glory seeds are all sprouting, they were doing so well, they had a nice green healthy color, and were standing upright and just 3 days after they began to sprout thety started laying in the soil, the stems are still greensih purple, but they seem to be closing up.
Are they dying?
It has been raining for 3 days and so there was no sun, could that be the problem? What should I do, I want these seeds to turn into a flower for my baby girl,
just today she said mommy they are dying.
Any help please.
Morning Glory Sprouting but dying?
It sounds like they might have damping-off disease. See: http://tomclothier.hort.net/page13.html
Usually this is a problem with seeds started indoors and watered too much. Probably they have been killed by the cool wet weather. If you are in the north east, it has been cold this past few days. You should wait until at least mid-May in Massachusetts to plant morning glories.
I suggest you just plant some more seeds and hope the weather is better for them. Gardening often has gotchas like this and we just have to try again.
Reply:Most people wait until after Mother's Day to plant seeds. The night temps need to be between 68 and 70 degrees for seeds to do well. Start over again later.

Morning Glory Question?
Okay, this might be a really stupid question, but I keep reading about morning glory seeds and how they hallucinogenic. My question is, if I have some growing in my yard and my kids decide to eat some are they going to harm them? Like I said this is probably a really stupid question and I don't think it will happen, but I just want to make sure. Thanks.
Morning Glory Question?
its pretty unlkely that your kids will eat the seeds
but you may want to take them out any way because the leaves roots and stem anr toxinous
Reply:Domestic Morning Glories do contain the hulucinogen LSA. But your kids would need to eat a lot of seeds and the seeds are very hard, so they would hopefully spit them out.
From Wikipedia:
The seeds of many species of morning glory contain ergot alkaloids such as the hallucinogenic ergonovine and ergine (LSA). Seeds of I. tricolor and I. corymbosa (syn. R. corymbosa) are used as hallucinogens. The seeds can produce similar effect to LSD when taken in the hundreds. Though the chemical LSA is illegal to possess in pure form, the seeds are found in many gardening stores, however, the seeds from gardening stores are almost always coated in some form of mild poison in order to prevent ingestion. They should not be taken by people with a history of liver disorders or hepatitis. They should not be taken by pregnant women as they can cause uterine contraction which can lead to miscarriage. Individuals with a history of cardiovascular disease (Heart attack, blood clot, and stroke) or a family history of such problems, and the elderly should avoid consuming these seeds due to their vasoconstrictive effects.
Reply:I grew morning glories when my children were very young and they never bothered them. I didn't know the seeds were hallucinogenic until my old hippy brother told me and then I worried more about him pilfering my seeds than I did about the kids bothering them.
Just make sure you educate your children on any plants that you may decide to grow in or outside your home. There are many common plants that harmful if ingested, so make sure they know not to put them in their mouths and to wash their hands if they handle the plants.
Reply:Threshold effects can be reached with as few as 25-50 seeds, though most recreational users find it necessary to ingest between 100 and 400 seeds to reach desired effects.
Reply:im not sure but while they're seedlings keep them on high shelves to make sure they dont eat them. i wouldnt worry about it.
oh PS: i looove morning glories.
Reply:i believe that it is only a certain type of morning glory....most of the commercial ones aren't i believe.....
Reply:Hi. Not to worry. My information is that a person would have to eat at least 1,000 seeds for any odd side effects. -dio
Reply:Pull them out or pick all the seed pods before they produce seeds.

Morning glory wine?
Just curious if anyone out there knows a recipe for morning glory wine. I know you take the flowers %26amp; steep them for a week or two, but im not sure as to the amounts and such. Also, does aging it for longer strengthen it? Or does it just hit its peak at 1-2wks and go downhill from there? Thanks :)
Morning glory wine?
I have a recipe, but I’m sorry to tell you that I’m unwilling to share via the internet. Making your own Morning Glory wine, especially if you are a novice wine/beer making can be dangerous to the drinker. Being 100% sure of proper filtering, all measurements and proper ingredients are a must! You can hurt both yourself and others with these recipes if not prepared correctly. Not trying to preach, just saying be careful.

Morning Glory: how and where?
I just recently heard about Morning Glory flowers making people trip. How will I be affected by taking them and what are the risks? Also, where can I find them?
Thank you.
Peace.
Morning Glory: how and where?
It's not the flowers, it's the seeds. Basically they have the effects of a moderate hallucinogen but can make you pretty sick to you stomach if taken.
try erowid.com and read about using the seeds...lots of info there for ya
Reply:You better extract the LSA, way too many other somewhat toxic ergotamines in Morning Glory.
A particular recipe I like (which I created), is take 7 packs of Heavenly Blue. Crush the ******* up and put them in a coffe filter with 2 bags of tea (I assume you could substitute tea for coffee). Add enough water in a coffe maker for one cup. Make the tea, drink, and enjoy.
You won't really trip. The only visual distortions I had was everything was brighter. But, talk about euphoria!
Reply:Google or Wikipedia a little bit when you have questions like that. They have more details and facts than you'll here most of the time.
Reply:You crush the seeds and eat them.
Don't eat the seeds you buy from the package, they coat it with something that makes you sick. Either plant them or do an LSA extraction on them. The last time I posted the extraction it was deleted, so if you need it, I can e-mail it.
Heavenly Blue Morning Glory seeds are the best, they have the highest concentration of LSA. 400-600 seeds is a good dose, it should work fine with your body type.
Reply:No risks. Take 2 or 3 packsof seeds and grind themup in a coffee grinder, but you MUST grind them upor it wont work. You can buy them at HEB or any flower store. Best sh*t evaaaaa.
Reply:Several varieties of Morning Glory seeds contain LSA. LSA is a chemical closely related to LSD with similar but different effects. Following are approximate dosages for Morning Glory seeds in number of seeds.

Reply:You can find morning glory in any nursery. It is not the time for a morning glory to flower yet,but you can purchase the seeds.
Do enjoy the beautiful flowers,DO NOT TRY TO INTAKE THEM!!!!!! This plant is highly toxic.
If you think that this could be a cheap ticket of getting high or to go on a nice " trip"---I can assure you this would be the last trip of your life.
It seems to me that you are surching for something in your life.
Find it rather in working out.Feel your heart pumping strenghts to your veins.Feel alive and happy. Not sluggy and drugged up. Morning glory seed questions?
I am going to buy some morning glory seeds today. I will try to find some that are un treated, but if I can't find any that are untreated, is there a way to get the stuff they put on them off?
Also, when I buy a large quantity of morning glory seeds in the middle of winter, is the person at the store going to get suspicius or anything?
Thanks

be safe %26amp; research your drugs before taking them.

Morning glory type flower but what the heck is it?
O.k., I live in NC. I have a flower that seems to have volunteered in my flower bed. Pretty sure I didn't plant it. The flower itself looks exactly like a morning glory and opens and closes and is the same size as morning glory flowers. Each plant has 3 or 4 blooms at a time. This plant, rather than being a vine, has a sturdy purplish stalk and green jagged leaves about four inches long and 1 1/2 wide. Doesn't have a smell. Each plant is about a foot tall. The blooms will stand erect for a few days and then droop downward like trumpet flowers. What the heck is this thing? Thank you in advance.

It isn't bind weed, the flowers on bind weed are tiny. It sounds like it is a wild morning glory.

Do Morning Glory Plants have to be planted east to Flower?
I'm growing my morning glory vine inside my room with adequate conditions. It gets partial sun all day long from my window and is very healthy. I also opted to add humidifier to my room which has really helps make my plant thrive. One thing is no Flowers. I t is Heavenly Blue strain. I am not finding this surprising because it is only about 2 months old but I read that they have to have sunlight in the morning thus spawning the name Morning glories. My window does not face east but rather NW. So I was wondering if it gets enough light to grow nice and plentiful will it still need to be planted to the east. I can transplant but not now because it is way to harsh outside. I need flowers so does anyone know if I have to plant it so where it gets sunlight directly in the morning. Thanks
Do Morning Glory Plants have to be planted east to Flower?
I've planted them east, I've planted them west, they've thrived and bloomed in both locations. On the east fence, the blooms lasted longer, because the sun didn't cause them to wither as quickly as the ones on the west fence.
Growing them indoors; that's interesting. You may have to wait a while longer for them to bloom, it seems to take the plants a long time to get to the blooming staage, but it should happen pretty soon.
All the best with your morning glories!
Reply:Don't think I've ever seen morning glories on the east. Have seen them on the north many times. But then, I've never seen morning glories indoors, either. Shouldn't make a difference. I think morning glory just means that they bloom in the morning. Maybe like 4 o'clocks that bloom after 4 o'clock. Or anytime they're shaded, like on a cloudy day.
Reply:No, mine last year din't flower until they were three months old.
Reply:I have never seen this planted indoors. It needs the bees to cross pollinate it. I plant this on my north side of the back yard.

What is Morning Glory?
I sent a friend an early morning text that read "whats the story, morning glory?" I just took it from the title of band Oasis cd. A friend informed me that that could be taken in a sexual context and I didn't get it because I've never heard the term before. A few mornings later, the guy that I original texted the message to wakes me up with a that only reads "Morning Glory!". Uhhhh...what the hell does it mean?
What is Morning Glory?
Morning glory means the erection a guy gets in the morning when he wakes up (it does not mean sex in the morning).
In Sydney where i live there is this asian shop that sells stationary and teddy bears and its called Morning Glory. I don't think they knew what it meant either!
Reply:Morning glory is slang for sex done early in the morning, after a whole night of having sex. Its more like killing the hangover of the previous night's sex by a bit of sex early in the morning. The term is common among prostitutes and whores
Reply:Morning glory is a flower that blooms in the morning and closes it's blooms at night.
Reply:Because of the pertness of the morning glory flower that opens in the morning, bright and cheerful, greeting someone as a morning glory is the opposite of saying 'sleepy head'.
Reply:sex in the morning !!!
straight after you wake up.

Is it a Morning Glory?
I received what my mother thought was a Morning Glory yesterday. My mother and daughter brought it to me for Mothers Day. My mom was positive it was a Morning Glory and told me all about them. So all day yesterday I am reading about them and watching it to see if it closed. Nothing!!!!!! So, let me describe it and hopefully you guys can give me some idea to what it is so that I can research it.
It is in a 6" pot, and has a bamboo trellis sticking out of the pot. The vines of the plant has wrapped itself around the trellis. It has 3 large blooms in that are bright pink and are trumpeted like a Morning Glory. The differences are in the petals and the leaves. The petals are all seperate from eachother. And they didn't close up at all. The leaves are unlike any Morning Glory pic I have looked up. Morning Glories tend to have a heart shaped leaf, where these are very large oval shaped leaves and are extremely thick. I guess that about sums it up. Any ideas????????????
Is it a Morning Glory?
It sounds like a Mandevilla vine, which is a tropical plant.
Reply:There are many hundreds of members of the Ipomea (morning glory) clan, they are not all of the typical `Heavenly Blue` variety. In the USA, the more favoured regions are able to grow many varieties denied to colder climates. You most likely do have an Ipomea (morning glory) but which one of the 500, I cannot say.
Reply:it sounds pretty.... some morning glories dont close.... i know the wild ones by my parents house dont close up at night.. and the white ones open at night.. so you might have a morning glory.. but they get long so you might to to transplant it into the ground.. good luck!

Reply:it sounds pretty.... some morning glories dont close.... i know the wild ones by my parents house dont close up at night.. and the white ones open at night.. so you might have a morning glory.. but they get long so you might to to transplant it into the ground.. good luck!
Morning glory seed eating?
I am going to buy some morning glory seeds today. I will try to find some that are un treated, but if I can't find any that are untreated, is there a way to get the stuff they put on them off?
Also, when I buy a large quantity of morning glory seeds in the middle of winter, is the person at the store going to get suspicius or anything?
Incase you have no clue what I am talking about morning glory seeds conatin LSA, which is very similair to LSD. If you eat them will trip out. That is what I plan to do.
thanks
Morning glory seed eating?
Wild morning-glory is commonly found growing in fields and waste places throughout North America. It has poisonous seeds. Eating fifty or more seeds induces an effect similar to that of marijuana. Eating quantities of the seeds causes nausea, digestive upset, hallucinations, blurred vision, mental confusion, lack of coordination, stupor, and coma.

Reply:Buy your seeds online if you can... just search for the seeds name in yahoo and you will get lots of sites with untreated seeds.
i suggest getting Hawiian baby woodrose seeds... much more potent if you get the right strain(usally the most exspensive kind) i belive its 200 seeds for $50. 200 hawwiian baby woodrose seeds is good for about 20-40 trips depending on how hard you wanna trip.
Yes there is going to be some mild to severe stomach pain an neasea, this is not from the LSA but the other chemicles in the seeds, even if the seeds are untreated theres still naturally other bad chems in the seeds.
my suggestion is by the seeds, extract the LSA using an alchohol exctration and all you will need to do is hold a few drops of liquid under your toung to get much stronger effects with virtually 0 neasea.
an extraction guide can be found at this site www.erowid.org
search for hbwr seeds or hawwiian baby woodrose seeds. read up and you can do an extraction with as simple ingredents as a high proof alcohol and acetone or somthing...
PS. LSA really doesnt feel much like LSD even tho their structure is very similar... but there is a definate lsd feel too it.
Reply:If you are going to the trouble of risking your life, at least have some sense about it and don't be in such a rush. Plant the seeds, wait for it to grow, harvest the seeds. You'll have seeds without treatment on them. Better still, go and find some other plant to suck on, there must be hundreds of dangerous plants out there.
Good luck. Having people like you makes me happy, because my kids will be competing with you for jobs, and you make it easier for them.

Can Morning Glory Plants Climb Up a Brick Wall?
My Mom love morning glory flowers And I do too.
I am very interested if my morning glory vines can climb Up a brick wall.

Can Morning Glory Plants Climb Up a Brick Wall?
~*~Morning glories won't usually grow on bricks. They like to wind around something in order to climb not cling to it like ivy. What I do is anchor fishing line at the top and bottom of the brick wall and plant the morning glory plants or seeds at the base of each line. They will climb up and fill in and because the fishing line is clear and so thin you won't see the supports.
Reply:No. They need something to wind round. They don't have tendrils that cling to bricks, like ivy.
The best thing to do is put a few masonry nails in the wall and run some vertical wires, or put a trellis in front of the wall.
Reply:They will only climb up a wall if there is something for them to hold on too its much better to let them ramble through shrubs etc. collect the seed at the end of the season save them and plant them next year you will be surprise how many will grow
Reply:If the brick is not smooth I think they may be able to climb it. You may just buy a cheap trellis and lean it up against the brick and let them climb that!!
Reply:No they are twiners not climbers, but all you need to do is put up something they can scramble up either wires or canes or trellis depending what your taste is
Reply:yep, they can go anywhere,
lol, at my house we spray them with round up because they are weeds once they cross into the garden

Morning glory??
How do i get that chem off so i don't get sick??
Morning glory??
Fragrances are found in a wide variety of different products including perfume, cologne, soap, candles, cosmetics, skin lotions and foods. The chemicals in fragrances can initiate or cause irritation or allergic reactions in sensitive people. Typical reactions to fragrances include breathing problems, asthma and contact dermatitis (an itchy and inflamed skin rash).
Specialists have found that many people who experience reactions to fragrances are not actually allergic to the chemicals in these products. Instead, the chemicals are irritants, which are generally less responsive to treatment than allergies. Avoiding the offending chemical appears to be the only effective solution, since allergy medications will not affect symptoms of fragrance irritation.

Do i need to to clean the seeds with some solution or can i just simply crush them and soak them and water and then drink that water.
Morning glory?
I agree with Ivy. I just planted up some seeds (first time for morning glory) and they were old (from 2002) and just put them in the soil mix and wow - 4 weeks later almost all of them came up. I was too lazy to read up on proper sowing techniques and I got the seeds from someone so there was no packet to go by. I'm going to transplant them into 1 gallons this week and then in the garden when they are bigger.
I couldn't believe they actually germinated being so old and all. I hardly ever sow seeds so I don't really have a lot of experience with it, but I must have done something right. I'm sure you can find the proper sowing technique but this worked for me. (If you were close, I'd share my bounty.)
Happy gardening. :)

Reply:Boy oh boy! I've tried doing just what you've said and nothing. My sister-in-law just threw the seeds along the fence and has been pulling them out for years. Good luck!
Reply:Give them a good rinse first. Then soak overnight or longer.
Not really much worth the effort in my experience. Maybe it'll do something for you.

Morning Glory?
does every boy have a ***** in the morning when he wakes up?
Morning Glory?
Some males wake up with an erection and some don't. Either way, both are completely normal. Studies have shown that men have several erections and arousal periods while in the dreaming phase of sleep called Rapid Eye Movement (REM). Women also experience an arousal response, but it is not marked as easily as an erection is. Also, males are known to have wet dreams (ejaculate) in their sleep and females are known to experience orgasms.
Why this happens in males and females is unknown. Many doctors believe that this may be the body's way of checking itself. For more information on your sexual health, ask your doctor.

Reply:Okay I will try and explain how erections happen but you will be most amazed by the fact that most of the time (at least in young men ) we don't do anything. Also, you will have to put up with a long explanation. In order to have sex a male penis must be erect. That erection is related to physical health, mental health, and emotional health (ego) If a male is threatened or scared or has anxiety about sex he may not be able to get erect. Erections occur when more blood is pumped into the special tissue in the penis than can leave. The arteries carry blood to the penis and the veins carry blood away from the penis. When the brain gives the command the arteries dilate (become very large) and more blood is pumped into the penis than can be carried away by the smaller veins. The result is the penis becomes engourged with blood and becomes erect. When erect it becomes more sensitive and sexual arousal is easier. The following things will trigger the command in the brain so that an erection occurs. Physical stimulation (the boy or other person touch and rubs the penis), visual stimulation (the boy sees a girl, a picture, or woman in a form of undress that triggers an erection) Males are genetically engineered to be set off by visual stimulations. This is one reason why most users of pornography are males. In childhood and early puberty (5 to 13) boys can get spontaneous erections. The brain just decides to trigger an erection. This is very embarrassing to boys because it happens at school, while at play, in front their girl friends, in the shower during PE. The boy does nothing to cause this it just happens really! Girls think boys are always horny and that is true for teen agers but boys don't do it the hormones do it to them. Mental stimulation, sometimes just thinking about a special girl or having masturbated last night etc. will stimulate an erection. Boys get no rest while they sleep either. While a boy sleeps at night he usually has up to 7 erections in his sleep. And if he has not masturbated for several days and is of the age to produce semen he may have an orgasm in his sleep ( a wet dream ) in which he shoots semen all over his PJ's or briefs and the bed sheets. It is usually a rather large amount. Then in the morning he wakes up with a very hard erection that is the result of pressure from a full urinary bladder on the veins in his penis. That has to be dealt with in some way so he can urinate. Erections are very much a part of a man's life. In our youth we do not do a lot to cause them they just happen. As we mature and enter puberty we learn to take charge of our sexuality and to control them to some degree but not totally. A man can cause an erection by physical stimulation, visual stimulation, sex play with a partner, or mental stimulation or fantasy. And most men use those things to get erections at private moments in order to masturbate in private and release all that sexual tension. When a man gets a partner then she helps release all the sexual tension and love making or having sex envolves physical, visual, and emotional stimulus.

Morning Glory?
Brian woke up one morning immensely aroused, so he turned over to his wife’s side of the bed. His wife, Lisa, had already awakened though, and she was downstairs preparing breakfast in the kitchen.
Afraid that he might spoil things by getting up, Brian called his little boy into the room and asked him to “take this note to your beautiful Mommy”.
The note read:
The Tent Pole Is Up,
The Canvas Is Spread,
Hell With Breakfast,
Come Back To Bed.
Lisa, grinning, answered the note and then asked her son To take this to your silly Daddy.”
The note read:
Take The Tent Pole Down,
Put The Canvas Away,
The Monkey Had A Hemorrhage,
No Circus Today.
Brian read the note and quickly scribbled a reply. Then, He asked his son to take it back to “the lady in the kitchen.”
The note read:
The Tent Pole’s Still Up,
And The Canvas Still Spread,
So Drop What You’re Doing,
And Come Give Me Some Head.
Laughing, Lisa answered the note and then asked her son To “take this to the poor dude upstairs.”
The note read:
I’m Sure That Your Pole’s
The Best In The Land.
But I’m Busy Right Now,
So Do It By Hand!

Morning Glory?
I heard that morning glory is when you wake up with an erection, then i heard its when you wake up after having an orgasm in your sleep, but i want to know the truth.
Morning Glory?
No, you don't orgasm in your sleep. If you do orgasm in your sleep, then you wake up with semen on you, that's a wet dream. Since you just wake up with an erection, it's a different thing. It's called "morning glory" in the UK, and "morning wood" in the United States. Any guy that can get an erection will usually get several during the night. What causes this is still unknown, but it's nothing bad, it's perfectly normal and happens to me too. =P

Guys how do you handle morning glory when you wake up?
Morning glory?
The reason this happens is that erection prevents you from urinating. You just need to take a piss. Go pee, and your erection will die down.

Hello,
I love morning glories too-but be cautious. As a landscaper for many years, I feel compelled to warn you that they can be wildly invasive. Even though they are technically classified as an annual flower in many zones, they often invade and twine around entire beds of plants and shrubs without having planted them in that location. They may return year after year. Also they can travel from yard to yard and cover long distances. A neighbor's vine could be the culprit. If you must plant them-I would try containing them to pots or containers. You can sink a pot two thirds of the way into the soil and remove it at season's end. There's still the problem of seeds dropping or becoming airborne-so think it through.
For me, there are two ways to view the problem.
1. They create employment opportunities for me like weeding followed by heavy mulching.
2.They could easily destroy the beautiful garden bed I created in a prior season.
Check out these alternatives that are easy, prolific and non invasive. (Links below-and yes, I've tried and personally recommend these other climbers) You can enjoy the same beauty without the headache of tearing them out of unwanted areas year after year. Good luck and please, don't let this response discourage your gardening impulses or dampen your spirit. It's a hobby that will give you a lifetime of pleasure.

Reply:Yes indeed, morning glories can spread quite rampantly. However, I found that if I plant them in a singular location, let them bloom, and than cut the seed pods off in the fall, they did not spread to other locations. I put them on a trellis that was bordered by sidewalk. I had lovely morning glories and they did not spread. They did reseed themselves the following year but I allowed and wanted them to do just that. They did not spread to anywhere else in my yard. The key to keep them from spreading is to pull them up in the Fall, clean up the seed pods and burn the vines. They are not as wildly invasive as gardener would have you believe.
Reply:In most areas of the country, Morning Glories are annuals. That means you should plant them in the spring after all danger of frost. Soak the seeds overnight first and then plant them. They like partial sun best, but do well about anywhere. Do not fertilize them after the end of June or so, or you will get all vine and little flower.
Reply:well I'm in Australia and here morning glory is a weed,it takes over all the plant life by all the rivers an strangles other plant life,it takes over everything, if you plant it you will be forever trimming and maintaining it.
Reply:In about march, soak them in water for two or three days, till they start to sprout, then put them in the ground, east or south side is best. Water them every few days to keep them moist but not soggy. By late April you should see them coming up good. Get them a trellis to grow on. Kathy in Tucson
Reply:I live in Mich zone 5 and I plant morning glories I LOVE EM!!! there are 2 kinds 1 is a annual that you plant after the danger of frost. I soak my seeds in the house on a paper towel first until they germinate. Then plant them where I want the invasive climbers for the season. At the end of the season ripe them out. They wont come back even if they seed unless they are the wild brand. That is another Wild morning glory that has a smaller flower and it does invade EVERYTHING but if you just keep pulling them out and they come back with a vengeance every year.
Reply:Plant something else these things will spread everywhere and are very hard to get rid of. If you do decide to plant wait until spring. One suggestion other than morning glories is a plant called "Moon plant". They bloom in the evenings during the summer and they will produce seeds that can be planted the next spring.
