same thing was happening to my morning glory, and it was slugs and snails. they kick back and hide during the day, eat at night. if you want to go the nontoxic route, try sprinkling some diatomacous earth around the base of the plant. it cuts up their undersides and they don't like slithering over it. you can get it at any decent garden supply place, like osh. it's powdered fossils!
Something is eating the leaves on my Morning Glory vine but I can't find any bugs. Thoughts on how to fix this
Slugs come out at night and can eat holes on the edge or in the middle of leaves. Sometimes you'll see a trail they leave.
Japanese Beetles eat leaves too, then fly away so you don't see them. Go to your garden center %26amp; ask for a general insect killer like Sevin, if you need to be safe for pets or children get some safer soap, it's not as effective but is very safe.
Reply:It could be rabbits or some other varmits in the area try using human hair you can possibly get it from your local barber the animals will smell it and avoid the area.
