IN REGARDS TO THE GUY THAT SAID POPPY SEEDS MAKE YOU POP POSITIVE THAT IS AN UNINFORMED ANSWER. PROBABLY, BECAUSE THEY SAW THE EPISODE ON SINEFELD. ANYWAY, IT'S NOT TRUE TRUST ME. OTHER WISE EVERYBODY WOULD BE POPPING AND THEY'D HAVE TO BAN POPPY SEEDS.

no, it is true... it doesn't affect you like the opium would and it's a completely safe thing... you can eat poppyseed muffins/bread and the dressing all you want with absolutely no effect, but if you take a blood test you'll test positive for narcotics and they can't tell which one it is. A friend didn't get a job because of a drug test when he'd eaten a poppyseed muffin the day before. Because the test checks for narcotics, not which one. Poppyseeds won't affect you like the other drugs would, but you will test positive... i don't know what "pop" means... apparently druggies use the term for something like getting high. and don't write in all caps: you're yelling at me and you're rude.
