What perennial flower grows as fast as "Morning Glory"?

I like the fast growth of Morning Glory's but donot like that they are annuals. Looking for help. Thanks

What perennial flower grows as fast as "Morning Glory"?
I've had tons of luck with clematis. I started with two plants, one light purple and one dark purple, now I get many shades of purple, blues and even pinkish. Those two original plants really liked each other.
