Is it true that if you eat morning glory flower seeds they have the same affect as LSD?

No. I don't know any of the science but after eating large quantities (two seed packs at a sitting, and that is alot as they really taste bad) of both recommended varieties "Heavenly Blue" and "Pearly Gates" I got NOTHING. Not any kind of high and not sick.

Is it true that if you eat morning glory flower seeds they have the same affect as LSD?
Lsd comes from ergot not ergine. It is the fungus that naturally grows on rye bread. Morning glory seeds contain LSA a similar yet less potent form. About 100 times less actually. They need to be washed crushed and sucked on for as long as possible. Then swallowed. Report It

Reply:I've heard you can get high from eating nutmeg, but if you eat too much it can kill you.

Reply:You will start to trip off of LSA, a powerfull dose of LSA can be similar to LSD however the effects are still diffrent, but if you have done LSD before you will definintly feel the similarity.
Reply:No. The active ingredient in LSD is synthesized from ergine, a substance found in Hawaiian rosewood and morning glory seeds. Morning glory seeds were used as a base agent by drug producers mainly due to their ready availability and cheapness.

You should know that for a long time it was standard policy for seed companies to spray morning glory seeds with a mild poison, so if you do eat morning glory seeds purchased from a vendor, you may get VERY ill!
Reply:That's what I've been told. When I was a teen-ager (a long time ago)Me and a friend tried it. It tasted so nasty. All I got was a bad stomach ache. So, for me , the answer is NO.
Reply:try it and see then report back
